What's happening?

Currently, there are protests all over Serbia going on. These types of protests BEGAN on July 7th in Belgrade, some hours after the president of the country made his statement about the pandemic, and the new restrictions.
The reasoning behind the protests are NOT related to COVID-19

The reasoning behind the protests is mainly targeted against the PRESIDENT himself.

Some months back, these protests were happening as well (also known as "1od5miliona"/"1in5million"), but they were much more calm and civil. they weren't this violent. To give a bit more backstory, Serbia was one of the countries who had pretty big restrictions when it came to handling and battling against the COVID-19 outbreak.
Before the elections happened, the number of infected decreased, and the government lifted most of the restrictions, including the lockdown, and life went back to normal. When the elections happened, the leading party unsurprisingly won as they always did in the recent years, and they remained in power.
Since the elections were rigged, the number of infected suddenly and drastically rose, which proved that the numbers of the infected we were being told were FAKE. We never "won" the fight against COVID-19, as we were being told.

The president has been lying to us, not only about the number of infected people, but also about so many other things, including making fake and big promises. The government and the president ALSO support Trump.
Most of the media (TV and print) in Serbia are OWNED by the government, which means they're lying and being controlled. Currently the only reliable source is N1, because they're owned by CNN.

Most of the journalists that are AGAINST the party and want to report on the situation are being attacked and bullied.

Pension funds and wages have been and ARE being reduced. This is mainly why people have been moving from Serbia to other European countries, because they're afraid of becoming broke.

Now, coming from experience, as someone who hasn't been directly involved in protests, but HAS been pretty near them, i can confidently say that they're slowly, but surely, getting more violent.
tear gas is constantly being thrown, and the police keeps being more brutal and brutal, beating up so many protestors.

10 POLICEMEN HAVE BEATEN UP 3 INNOCENT PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN ONLY SITTING ON A BENCH. THEY WEREN'T INVOLVED IN THE PROTESTS.
THE MEDIA IS MAINLY SAYING HOW THE POLICE KEEPS GETTING ATTACKED, BUT THEY NEVER MENTION HOW SO MANY PEOPLE ARE GETTING INJURED BECAUSE OF THE BRUTALITY.

SINCE THE MEDIA ISN'T COVERING THIS PROPERLY, WE NEED TO SPREAD AWARENESS.

THIS ISN'T A JOKE. THIS IS AN ACTUAL THING THAT IS GOING ON, EVEN AT THE TIME OF ME WRITING THIS.
